Frank M. Chillura Appointed to Planning Commission
The Temple Terrace City Council has appointed Frank M. Chillura to serve on the Hillsborough County City-County Planning Commission.
The Planning Commission welcomes Frank M. Chillura from the City of Temple Terrace. Mr. Chillura began a 4 year appointment in December.
Mr. Chillura served as a Temple Terrace City Council Member between 2000 and 2008 and has served on various boards and commissions including the Hillsborough Area Regional Transit Board, Hillsborough County Public Transportation Commission, the Tampa/Hillsborough County Sustainable Communities Advisory Committee, the Temple Terrace Redevelopment Zoning District Advisory Committee and the Hillsborough River Planning Board. He also served as a member of the Temple Terrace Municipal Code Enforcement Board. Mr. Chillura is the director of MC Management, which specializes in real estate development and property management
Mr. Chillura was born in Italy and grew up in Temple Terrace, where he attended Hillsborough County schools and received an AA Degree from Hillsborough Community College.
Planning Commission Executive Director Robert B. Hunter, FAICP said, “Mr. Chillura is well versed in development and redevelopment and brings a wealth of information to the Commission. The Planning Commission looks forward to working with him on comprehensive growth plans, transit oriented development, affordable housing, and encouraging infill development.”
