The Planning Commission Approves Hillsborough County and the City of Temple Terrace Capital Improvements Programs
On August 9, 2010 the Planning Commission reviewed and approved the new FY2011-15 Capital Improvement Plans (CIPs) for Hillsborough County and the City of Temple Terrace, as required by law (Chapter 97-351, Laws of Florida).
These CIPs were reviewed for consistency with the priorities in each of the jurisdiction’s Capital Improvements Element (CIE) and for overall conformity with each jurisdiction’s adopted Comprehensive Plans.
Having forwarded the Planning Commission’s staff report and resolution to each appropriate jurisdiction, the next step is for Hillsborough County and the City of Temple Terrace to hold public hearings and officially adopt their recommended CIP this September.
