New Procedures Manual Streamlines Plan Amendment Process
-
On Monday, December 12th 2011, the Planning Commission unanimously passed a resolution to consolidate the Comprehensive Plan Amendment Procedures Manual for Unincorporated Hillsborough County and the Cities of Tampa, Temple Terrace and Plant City. This decision to consolidate the manuals for all four jurisdictions into one document reduces the cost of plan amendments for both the taxpayers and the applicants. The simplified Procedures Manual is far more user-friendly and expedites the length of the overall process. The manual will be presented for consideration by each local government in early 2012.
