The Planning Commission is the single Local Planning Agency for all jurisdictions in Hillsborough County. It performs consolidated planning services and makes independent recommendations to the Board of County Commissioners, Plant City Commission, Tampa City Council, Temple Terrace City Council and other appropriate public bodies concerning the orderly growth and development of Hillsborough County.
