Join Us! Sustainable Design Assessment Team (SDAT) Overview September 23
Tampa is a desirable city in which to live. Rapid growth and development has proven this over the years. Yet, it often seems that we are playing catch-up to that development. As a community, we need to ask, “How do we want to live and grow?”
The Urban Charrette, in collaboration with the City of Tampa, The Planning Commission, and AIA Tampa Bay, has been awarded a Sustainable Design Assessment Team (SDAT) grant from the American Institute of Architects. The Tampa SDAT, entitled Connecting Tampa, is about improving the neighborhood planning process to reshape the public realm, reconnect our neighborhoods to downtown, and create a sense of place for Tampa. Come hear about the exciting process Urban Charrette has initiated here in Tampa.
Urban Charrette is an energy driven group of young architects, planners, design and urban specialists that facilitates conversations on how design can be used as a tool to increase the social, economic, and environmental well-being of a community.
Join us this Tuesday for an overview of the SDAT process and find out how you can be involved. Cotact Kimberly Finn to reserve your seat.
