I-4 Green Tech Corridor
Final Draft I-4 Green Tech Corridor: Hillsborough County
- This draft, dated March 1, 2010, is the draft that will be considered by the Planning Commission at its March 22, 2010 public hearing.
The I-4 Project Team has the following scheduled:
- An Open House to review Hillsborough County's and Plant City's plan amendment is scheduled at Strawberry Crest High School, 4691 Gallagher Road, Dover, on March 18, 2010 at 6pm. The open house will have multi-media displays, maps, and other displays to educate the public about the proposed amendments. There will be a short presentation made by staff with a question and answer period following the presentation. Staff welcomes comments regarding the proposed amendment.
- The Planning Commission public hearing is scheduled for 5:30pm March 22, 2010.
- The Plant City team filed Comprehensive Plan amendments relating to the Interstate-4 Green Technology Corridor on November 6, 2009.
- The Cities team will be filing a plan amendment in the Spring of 2010 to designate the Tampa Industrial Park as part of the I-4 Green Technology Corridor.
- The project management team has completed the Existing Conditions Report. Look under the Core Study Team folder for the copy of the final report (17.3 MB document). At the August 11, 2009 BOCC Land Use Meeting, the report was accepted and the BOCC provided policy direction for the implementation phase of the study.
