Northwest Hillsborough Area Community Plan

The Hillsborough County Board of County Commissioners has directed the Planning Commission to update the Northwest Area adopted community plan (Effective January 9, 2001). Planning Commission staff began this work with stakeholders and citizens in January 2010 and completed it through adotion in ??. The Development Services Department managed the development of the original Northwest Area Community Plan which was begun in February 1998, adopted by the Board of County Commissioners in October 2001 and became effective January 9, 2001. In addition to incorporating the Vision, Goals and Strategies, and boundary map of the community plan into Hillsborough County’s Comprehensive Plan, adjustments to densities and intensities, and of the Urban Service Area boundary were also included.
