How to participate in our Public Hearings.
All members of the public and interested parties may appear at the Public Hearing and be heard as to any and all matters pertinent to the adoption of the amendments to the Future of Hillsborough Comprehensive Plan for Unincorporated Hillsborough County. Comments may be made orally at the hearing or in writing if submitted on or before the hearing date.
If any person decides to appeal any decision made by the Planning Commission with respect to any matter considered at the forthcoming public hearing, they are hereby advised that they will need a verbatim record of the proceedings. The record includes the testimony and evidence upon which such an appeal is to be based.
The proposed amendments to the Comprehensive Plan may be inspected by the public one week in advance in the office of the Hillsborough County City-County Planning Commission, 601 E. Kennedy Blvd., 18th Floor, Tampa, Florida, 33602, between the hours of 7:45 a.m. and 5:15 p.m., Monday – Friday, except holidays or at http://www.theplanningcommission.org/calagenda.
