Land Use Counseling
Planning Commission staff is available to assist the public on rezoning issues that may affect a parcel or parcels of land within each jurisdiction. Staff will assist citizens in understanding the relationship between zoning and land use designations and whether a potential rezoning may be consistent with the Comprehensive Plan.
The Planning Commission, however, does not process rezoning applications. Each jurisdiction's land development or coordination department oversees the application for rezoning.
