Population Projections/Estimates
The Planning Commission staff prepares and compiles data for planning purposes. This information, such as population and housing unit estimates, is available through our website.
Estimates are provided for the cities of Tampa, Temple Terrace, Plant City and unincorporated Hillsborough County. The Planning Commission staff prepares studies and reports tracking new residential construction. These studies track new developments through the permitting process, subdivisions, platting and annual housing units changes.
The Planning Commission also tracks residential, commercial, and industrial permitting.
