Meet the Staff

Executive Planning Group

This group is headed by the executive director who is responsible for managing the agency's staff and for administering the work program and budget.

Cities Planning Group

This group is comprised of planners individually assigned to the respective municipalities of Plant City, Tampa and Temple Terrace. Planners work with their respective municipality to develop and recommend updates to the City’s Comprehensive Plan.

Administration Group

The Administration Group is responsible for all fiscal activities, human resources, planning library, reception area, graphics support, and general administrative policy oversight.

Automation Group

The Planning Commission's Automation Group is a multi-disciplinary technology group focused on supporting the agency's long-range, comprehensive planning mission.

Countywide Planning Group

The Countywide Planning Group works primarily with the citizens of unincorporated Hillsborough County in developing and updating the Future of Hillsborough Comprehensive Plan for Unincorporated Hillsborough County. The Team members are also available to answer citizens' questions about the long-range plan and how it affects their property.

Environmental and Research Group

The Environmental and Research Group develops and maintains the environmental and infrastructure elements of the Comprehensive Plans of all four jurisdictions in Hillsborough County.

Transportation Planning and Programs Group

This group’s goal is a transportation system, and a transportation planning process, that is open and inclusive of all members of our community.

Transportation Modeling and Special Projects Group

This group is responsible for forecasting future travel based on the Future Land Use Plans of the various jurisdictions. The group also maintains a database of roadway and travel characteristics for all major roadways in Hillsborough County.
